There were almost a couple of amazing firsts at Sunbury! Despite having a number of great players over the years, nobody has broken par, ever! Kenny Man (League 1) was on track until 3 putts on the penultimate hole (from 10ft) push him back to level par. This was still good enough to win by 4 shots from Tom Abbott who on debut is defiantly one to watch! Thats 3 wins in a row from Kenny though and has he ensured his place in the final already?

In Junior League 1, Charles David Beeson almost had the first Ace in UKG L history. Watch this space for the video coming soon! He also finished 1 shot off the lead but that was only good enough for 4th place behind Hyunmo Yang (leader in a close league!), Monty Holcombe and Minkyu Ji in the tightest of events. Just 7 shots separated the whole of Junior League 1!

Simon Holcombe (league 2 leader) picked up another win in League 2 with a PB round that would have been competitive in league 1! Maurizio Corda also shooting a PB of 49 sneaked him into second place a couple of shots ahead of Lilian Chaplain and Lee Gray (last weeks winner).

It was the Owen show in Junior League 2 with a win for Jamie and a second for sister Saskia. Stephen Lee still leads the way after 4 events.

Great turn out and thanks for getting involved! Next round is Saturday at Moore Place!
